Thanks for all of the responses. This morning, I "jokingly" mentioned the idea of a playmate for Barney. DH was not happy. I am continuing to test the waters. After we got home from church, I mentioned how sad poor Barney must have been all by himself. We had Max up on the couch out of reach. Right now, he is attacking the squeaky pig from Wal-Mart. I just threw in another advertisement saying that he really needs a playmate.....no response from husband
