I could really use some advice.....I have my yorkies on BB Freedom, chicken-potato dog food. Teeka scratches but not bad. When I brought Tatiana home she did not have any skin issues and no scratching! I actually looked at her skin before I bought her and it was smooth and not any flakes. She was on Ekunuba dry and I transitioned her to BB Freedom. Now her skin is so flaky and scaley and she is itching a lot! I am assuming it is the food. I only use puppy shampoo and conditioner, so I don't think it is the shampoo. I talked to my vet and he said it is a quality grain free food. I am so frustrated right now. I know it could be something else besides food, but what? They also get Extra Virgin Coconut oil added to their food....no treats except Bully Sticks right not!
