I think this is great because it may help determine that specific bloodlines in specific areas are carriers and should be retired/sterilized and that new bloodlines might have to be introduced. I think this could really strengthen bloodlines of many breeds. I encourage all who own dogs with liver shunt to participate and spread the word to other breed owners, too.
