What great information. I think it would be wonderful for anyone who's dog has this condition to participate. This could save so much suffering in the future and I'm sure breeders who are responsible and do genetic testing would love to be able to check for this trait.
The way I read this is that they just need a blood sample which could be obtained by your local vet and shipped, so participants could theoretically come from all over the world, correct?
