 Help! Yogi is lethargic!
Our 11 month old usually crazy active baby has been lethargic all week. He eats but skulks slowly around looking scared, hasn't picked up a toy or chewy all week. Took him to vet Wednesday and again Friday. Physical exams both times, extensive blood work, all negative. Then a friend tells me it could be his back is hurt, give half baby aspirin which I did. Half hour later he is perky old self again! My husband thinks we need a new vet, I think the vet did what he could, Yogi never whimpered even when he was being moved, poked, etc. I want to continue aspirin tomorrow and bring him back Monday for possible x ray, or MRI whatever would show what's wrong. I should also mention this started after a play date with another yorkie and they rolled around and played a lot! Anyone ever experience this or have advice? I love Yogi and have found this site so helpful! Thanks |
