Could he be cold? When Callie is cold she pretty much shuts down. Other reasons to shake could be pain or fear. Has anything that could be scary have happened? Also you might want to check the color of his gums if they are pale he could be experiencing low blood sugar although rare in adult dogs it can happen and normally means something more serious. It might be a good idea to get him checked out by a vet maybe do a little blood work if the vet can't find anything.
