I would suggest getting a spray bottle with water and some conditioner in it. Spray the tangles before attempting to brush or detangling them. The conditioner helps them break apart and more manageable. Plus it is much easier if you have the right tools. I have included the tools that I use to groom my four Yorkies and how each of them should/can be used.
