This happened when I brought home Max and I discovered he would only drink out of a stainless steel bowl. You mentioned trying different dishes though.
Also, Max will not touch kibble with water on it. Did the breeder put water on her kibble? I would ask the breeder how the dogs were fed and try to mimic that as closely as possible.
