She is not a yorkie but my 5 pound toy poodle is very sick right now and she can use all the prayers she can get. My husband and I left town yesterday morning for the weekend to attend a forum four hours from home. When we left she was fine. When my daughter came home, she found her bottom swollen and straining to go poo. Thinking that she was constipated i told my daughter to give her some wet food mixed with warm water and she should be ok. Well this a.m there was small pools of blood on my carpet and furniture and she was curled in a ball and not responding to my daughter at all.
My dad and daughter rushed her the vets and her temp is only 92.1, she is severly dehydrated, vet stuff her finger up her bottom and pulled out alot of blood. They are keeping her, treating her with a vitamin k shot just in case she got into some poison which I no she didnt but better safe then sorry and they are looking into pancreatitis. I feel so helpless, ive been crying all morning. Please say a prayer for her that she pulls through.
