I was thinking the same thing. I hear most people describe a reverse sneeze as a honking sound... that's not really what she's doing here. she's kind of gasping for air, and jerking her neck and trying to breath. And it happens when she gets excited - usually when I'm preparing her food, or right after a bath. But there are times when she starts having an "episode" for no apparent reason at all.
How would the vet check my dog for allergies? a blood test? what should I ask for?
