And yeah, I know. This place is usually very very good, and accommodating too. Always been very happy with them, we love our personal vet, except they are very pricey - one of the more expensive in the area. They've never forced anything on me whatsoever in the past. I honestly think this was techs being confused. I kind of wish I would've just asked to speak directly to our vet, I feel like she wouldn't have even cared.
But what irritates me is since he didn't have the surgery until April 15 anyway, the bordatella vaccine was useless.... because clearly, it's no longer Easter and so they wouldn't be over-booked and he could've stayed in the other room. I just was kinda put in an awkward position and had an 'uhhh... okay, go ahead' moment when put on the spot.
No more bordatella for him though ever. He's had is 3x now and the last time after he had the vaccine, he actually got KC anyway

I won't be doing any more DHP either at this point.
