Don't forget a nutritionally balanced human diet is not balanced for a dog, for example a 5 pound dog needs as much calcium as an adult woman. I agree with Lil Sis, you will need a nutritional supplement, and I personally believe the diet should be checked by a certified canine dietitian. That’s one advantage all dog foods have over the home cooked diet, they are balanced for dogs and they aren’t missing major things that could cause serious problems down the road.
