I wonder, do they lay out the tape and make it into a fabric first? That's how I'd do it. Then just cut it out as regular fabric. Albeit, really annoying sticky on the edges fabric, and that you'll have to clean your scissors after each piece cut out.
Can imagine sewing it either. The needle would keep getting stuck with the adhesive. Or I guess they could just tape the pieces together!  |
LOL! On Project Runway, the contestants put the tape on muslin and they were able to sew through the tape.
