Eyewitness in Watertown overlooking some of the shootout there said one of the two suspects threw handgrenades and a pressure cooker bomb at police, it smoked a great deal creating a smokescreen and then he ran at the police shooting while the other got in a vehicle and took off toward the police, slicking right between the vehicles, knocking off rearview mirrors and things and apparently escaped for a time. Apparently the police took the first suspect that was on foot into custody but the one that had driven off is the one at large still in Watertown. The Boston Police Commissioner is on scene and the FBI has taken over the crimescene there in Watertown and further investigation. The Boston Globe is tweeting now that it is the two Boston bombing suspects that are the two guys in Watertown who were shooting, throwing handgrenades and the pressure cooker. MSNBC's Pete Williams is saying that the FBI was interested in two names that have been tipped to police since the several FBI suspect pix were released yesterday. He said those two names are sourced to Watertown - either living or being known in that area. One of the men the police have arrested is named one of those names, according to Williams. But the other suspect is still on the loose and possibly more. And they are saying the MIT shooting could be connected to all of this Watertown activity.
