Daisy is precious, too. We have decided to cut Katie down. She has the most gorgeous thick silk coat, but she plays so hard and she is constantly covered in leaves, twigs, stickies, and brush. Our landscaper did a great job cleaning our property, but there continues to be pine needles and branches falling all over the place. I stop her the whole time while playing to pull things out, and still my husband does a full body inspection on her when we get back.When we walk, Katie also picks up everything. Katie is so good when we are cleaning her hair and during grooming, but I don't think it's fair to her. She jumps in a baby pool every five minutes while we play so that she can cool off and she is very wet playing. I'm sure she will look adorable, but I'm sure i will cry. Still, I owe it to Katie to do what's best for her. Most importantly, I love Katie for the loving, precious, fun-loving, courageous little girl that she is, and I will love her no matter how long or how beautiful her hair is. In my eyes, she will always be gorgeous.
