Hard to say. Genetics are complicated. Depends too on how strong the genetics behind the sure and dam are for their coat color too, their coat texture and what texture the pup inherited, and what genes for coat color the puppy got. Sometimes you can tell early on that a puppy will be light... Look at the color at the roots of the hair by the shoulders...if it starts to look like blue or silver early, they will probably be light as an adult.
