Default New (sort of) to YorkieTalk

Hi, I had joined about 9 months ago when my male Yorkie, Louie was dg. with
Legg Perthes in left hip- he was having surgery the day I found this site and just needed some experience and hope. Louie is my first yorkie and he really
had a challenging first year. Anyway, I'm sorry I didn't let anyone who read that fear-filled first post know how well things turned out. The vet had said he doubted the other hip would be affected but 4 months later Louie was having his 2nd hip joint removed. (by a different surgeon). He's small about 4-1/2 pounds and I wondered how he would do with the two major surgeries and he
was amazing. He runs, hops, jumps, plays like there's no tomorrow and he's pain free!! i'm now considering/looking at possibly adopting another yorkie-
I can't believe how much I love my dog! My grown and married son occasionally seems a bit jealous that Louie gets more attention than he recalls getting as a child. (He doesn't)(Maybe he does)
I'll post a picture when I can figure out where I put them on computer!
