That poor pup! It makes me sick to constantly see animals pay the price for owners' lack of knowledge, laziness, or just sheer stupidity.
It's so much easier to teach a pup than a small child! Sam will have been with us 3 months tomorrow, and it's still an every day referee job between he and Sarah. She knows not to pick him up or put her hands on his neck, but she still does things that irritate him and scare the crap out of me. It's everything from getting rough when she pets to trying to take his toys to disturbing him when he's asleep.
