Agreed. I'm a HUUUUGE supporter of rescues. I always encourage family/friends to go that route first for a while before going to a breeder. However, that being said, my Thalia is from a breeder. She's my first puppy and first breeder experience. Does that make me a bad person for being "hypocritical?" Absolutely not.

Donna is right that it's a personal choice so I hope that you really don't feel bad.
