Please don't feel you need to apologize for your choice of the puppy you choose. Bringing an animal into ones home is a very personal decision that ONLY you can make. A thought out decision like you seemed to have made is one that you will most likely be able to live with for a long time. Like you I support rescues but that does not mean a rescue dog is right for my personal situation. I took a chance with Lola who is also a mix, it turned out very well for me and I wish you the same luck and look forward to seeing pics of your little guy.
