I agree with the others. Rest, ice, compress & elevate. The nurse should have checked fetal heart tones on the baby. Anyone over 12 weeks along should get this vital sign checked. I can't believe they didn't at least wrap it, and it sounds like you should have a stirrup splint for support, or at least some crutches. Call your OB. She/he could order an outpatient xray to avoid the additional ER charge if she feels another look is warranted. Even if it isn't fractured, it sounds like one h*** of a sprain and sometimes those can take almost as long to recover from as a fracture.
