so this one is baffling.. Jessie has a very large crate thats one side has a bed, play area and food and water. She can walk through a little doorway to her pee pad. She is about 90 percent successful. (its 5 feet long)
lately I have found her lying on her clean pee pad (I change them after she pees/poops as she has no problem walking through her pee or poop) and then peeing in her bed! Today she pooped in it! Now again she is 90% successful so it doesnt always happen.
She has to be in the crate when not watched due to her broken leg and the fact that my 4 kids are young and try as I might leave things on the floor. Its for her protection. She gets out numerous times throughout the day and for most of the evening when the kids are home and in the family room. She even has her own small screen porch to roam many times a day.
I know she knows the difference. How do I get her to stop lying on her pee pad? She wont lie on the wet part if I dont change it. she moves to the dry part... |
