Hopefully he will accept the new addition soon. I had a little Maltese when I got married. Of course kids came along and she had to get used to that. I always would let her sniff the baby and get used to the new smells. Dogs are very effected by scent so they need to know the new scent is accepted by you and should be accepted by them. Sasha would sit right by me as I nursed the baby and would follow me around as I did what needed to be done. I don't think she ever really loved having the kids around but she took on the roll of being my helper and was involved in everything that went on.

Try making your little guy feel like he is part of caring for this new little one. If he feels excluded he will be unhappy.
