Things sure have changed since I started this thread yesterday. At that time, CNN was saying maybe it was a gas leak or manhole explosion and didn't look so bad initially. Later, I changed to Fox and MSNBC and they had on the ground footage showing 2 explosions, the second looking and sounding worse than the first and you could tell that the force of the bomb was much worse and from all of the injured and blood that you saw that whatever it was, it was pretty bad. The latest I've heard is that the injured is inching toward 200 and 3 dead. If all of those healthcare workers and ambulances hadn't been on the scene, I'll bet there would have been more deaths but apparently those severely injured got help within a few minutes and had IV lines started quickly due to their ready access for the runners' needs. That was a Godsend and you don't usually have that at a bombing site. How that city is going to change after this! It's so sad.
