I've so been in your shoes. I can say relax, Mommy! Teddy will adjust to the newcomer and the change of routine. He may pout for a little bit, but I can pretty much guarantee, he'll make the adjustment easier than you will. Your first priority at this point in time should be taking care of yourself. Fatigue, stress, and postpartum raging hormones are going to take you on a roller coaster ride, especially if this is your first baby.
Listen to your instinct, love and include Teddy in your daily activities whenever possible, and above all, don't be afraid or ashamed to ask for help if you need it!
