| She will be swollen at first but not really noticeable until she is further along in her heat. You will notice her grooming/cleaning her bottom a lot. You can see a sure sign of blood that will turn to a clear liquid about ten days into her heat. Each female is different and some heats can last longer than others. Just because you see no blood later in her heat cycle doesn't mean she is done. Keep her away from any intact males !!
