With recent riots, the celebrations of Maggies death in the streets, and many posting for years about what they are going to do when Maggie dies, it's a worry. Many leaders from around the world will be attending, plus the Queen etc. It'll be a perfect target for the violent minded.
With regard to the London marathon, there are a number of runners with run both races Boston then London, I imagine who ever did this bombing is hoping to put fear into them and and the other London runners/supporters.
Our prayers are with all those hurt and effected by the events in Boston.
