What to do with Quiona can't seem to watch any TV show where they are not touting the health benefits of Quiona. So I bought a plain bag of it. I decided to just cook it plain the first time to see what it tastes like in the raw. Must say not what I was expecting. Perhaps I overcooked it, it is very soft. Reminds me more of farina or crème of wheat. I sprinkled a bit of salt on some on a tea spoon, yuck does not taste well with salt, put a small pat of that healthy butter spread on small dish, better but it tastes breakfastie not dinner like. also reminded me of grits. So what do you all do with it. |
