We spent 8 hours at an emergency vet this morning. My Ivy had a breech puppy that would not come out. The vet did a c-section and we have two puppies. The breech one is 3.8 oz the othe only 1.9 ozs. She will not nurse. I could tube feed but read not too because her tummy is too small. I have tried to get colstrom from mom with not much luck. So I gave her the beef liver broth in a dropper, just a tiny bit maybe 1/8 th teaspoon and then gave her some puppy formuls mixed with a little nutra cal, again not much. She seemed to take it ok.
Any ideas? She is on a heating pad trying to keep her warm..I don't know if she'll make it...any help from experienced breeders?
