I couldn't say it better myself. They are dogs, decentends of wolves. It is all about pack mentality. No dog wants to be the leader, but it comes to them naturally when others don't take to it or their owner, for that matter. the closeness is what i love mostly. if you look at the cat category, they like to live serpeately.
