They say some dogs like a crate to call their own. I have never had one of those dogs crate loving dogs although I have tried it on occasion.
Gracie has slept with me from day one. The other night I turned on my ceiling fan for the first time this year. It was on low speed for just a few minutes. It made the room more comfortable for me but apparently Gracie was miffed about it.(she would love to live in the tropics) She got up and walked to the living room. I went to check on her a few minutes later and there she was all rolled up in her blanket that sits on one end of the couch. I have to admit I felt shunned. She did come back in on her own after an hour or so. I guess she let me know how things stand with the ceiling fan and her. In the summer I usually have to put her pajamas on her if the AC or the fan is on. |
