I doubt if the breeders who are doing it believe that it’s best for the dogs, they just don’t want their work stolen and this also protects the breed somewhat. My point is to try and encourage everyone to only support AKC breeders so that fewer breeders will find early neutering necessary, I'm not in favor of it.
