Maybe you should look up some good breeders and even check out YTCA.com. Good breeders know there lines and test there dogs for genetic issues so to limit any possibility of having any pups that have genetic illnesses most sick dogs come from bad breeders. There are bad breeders that show as well as good breeders that show. I hope that being on this website you will learn about good breeders vs bad breeders I know I sure did when I joined.
No your not sure because Malti-poos are extraordinary dogs, Morkies are to die for. Many designer breeds are healthier than pure bred dogs. Please do your research on this topic. All my dogs are purebred and I wouldn't buy a designer breed but I do know the facts and there's a diffrence between mixing 2 random dogs and choosing 2 healthy dogs with gorgeous characteristics to complement each other. Aren't you aware that the yorkie you have now was once cross bred to look the way it does?? Waterside Terrier now known as the Yorkshire terrier was a breed formed by the crossing of the old rough-coated Black-and-Tan English Terrier (common in the Manchester area) and the Paisley and Clydesdale Terriers.
