ZoE does like to cuddle, but she does it when she wants to, not necessarily when I want her to. But, I wouldn't ever describe her as a "velcro dog", as she's fairly confident & independent. Personality wise, she reminds me alot of my daughter. I've often wondered if I raised them both that way (nurture) or whether they just both happened to be that way (nature). |
Uni is exactly like this. Very independent, and I often describe her more as a cat or a human. Dakota is very needy, she loves to please people, and as such, more of a dog. I think it is more the dog's temperament, bc I foster a lot, and I try hard to treat all the dogs equally. They just all have their own personality that shines through. Some thrive more with more interaction, others like to learn and explore on their own. Some work to please you, while others couldn't give a damn about you. Doesn't matter to me, I love then all!
