It would be impossible to know unless she had a skin scraping to tell what bacteria it is, if it's yeast or mange...usu yeast smells & is incredibly itchy. If she had mastitis, is she nursing pups now? How can the vet say it might be mange when it's contagious & have her go home to her pups w/out getting tested?
