Not really. ZoE is often taking herself off to another room by herself. She prefers to nap on my bed rather than anywhere else in the house...so like right now...I'm on my puter in the living room & ZoE's in my bedroom sleeping on my bed. She'll also take herself off to our sunroom, which has three walls of low windows and hang out there so she can watch the birds, squirrels, etc.
ZoE does like to cuddle, but she does it when she wants to, not necessarily when I want her to. But, I wouldn't ever describe her as a "velcro dog", as she's fairly confident & independent. Personality wise, she reminds me alot of my daughter. I've often wondered if I raised them both that way (nurture) or whether they just both happened to be that way (nature).
