to be honest i'd kind of prefer this type of a set up and possibly to get him pee pad trained just because of my schedule it would make life so much easier i wouldn't have to worry about having someone come let him out to pee

i just was afraid that too many changes after i've finally got him peeing and pooping on command outside may mess us up even more
I work long days at times too so Buster uses both the pad and goes outside. He has never been one to be able to hold it for long ( me either) so this seemed best for the both of us. I do understand that training an adult is more complicated.
