The fact that the puppies ears are down is not a problem they will go up naturally, I would not touch them. But if they are not up by 4 months you can tape them in a pancake style with medical tape, with that support they should be up in a week or so (you should also shave the hair around the ear as it may hold them down). But if they are up in the morning they will completely stand up eventually. The ears should stand up by then as this is part of the AKC standards, although I think it looks cute. Also about the bones being fragile I would recommend a puppy vitamin just to add good vitamins to his diet. Many backyard breeders don't feed the puppy to make them seem "smaller". So then they gain weight instantly when you get them. Also remember Yorkies are not naturally small dogs so if you have a tiny one which you do you should keep a constant eye out. Hypoglycemia is common in these tiny pups.
