I think it is probably because you feel calmer (even though you thought you were calm before). I'm so happy they are dealing with the storms better.
My dogs have never really had a problem with storms but I think it is because I love relaxing to thunderstorms (it's only the ones with possible tornadoes that freak me out lol)
