I use the Purina HA for my Daisy, but it's lower protein which was why I mentioned RC. I still have to use daily atopica for my girl, and if she became intolerant to chick pea, the only proteins I have left are calamari and kangaroo. The Purina HA is soy based. The hydrolysis proteins aren't recognized by the immune system. My problem with HA is that I still need to add fiber to the diet or she gets backed up. I know what you mean about the loud swallowing, daisy often gags and spits up under the bed after going outside for even 5 mins. I use Benadryl too. Your daisy is adorable, btw!
