Second, How do you get your dog to stop barking? We are watching my MIL dog, while shes taking care of personal matters. Hes been here a couple weeks and he wont shut up! My dogs dont really bark, Joey does if he thinks he hears something...Carley only when there is someone here and she doesnt know them. So I have the same set-up for both little ones (hes also a yorkie), and I try to ignore him if hes barking, but he will literally just run around barking. Please help! |
I have one that excessively barks at times. I use a water bottle. I usually never have to squirt it in her direction because just knowing I have the bottle shuts her up. In a multi-dog household, I have found the bottle to be the best option. As for nails, I let the groomer do it and they use a a small cat clipper most of the time or they use a dremel to grind the nails down.
