It's confusing when they are on so many medications. Roxie was on metronidazole, probiotics, prilosec and prednisone for reflux and I had to write down a schedule and then record when I gave her what. I know the metronidazole couldn't be given near the probiotics because the vet said the metro would eat up all the good probiotics. I gave the probiotic midday and the metrod in the morning and evening. She is now off the metronidazole so it's a little easier. I hope Daisy's colitis continues to clear up. |
