Bloody diarrhea has cleared up. Took two days. Had one normal stool today. No cerenia for two days and she hasn't vomited. Both vets recommend Xanax to try to control the colitis as well as tylan powder, probiotics, and pepcid long term. Lol now I just need to figure out a schedule for all this! I may need some advice. I know probiotics should be taken on empty stomach and given half hour to hour before meal. But probiotics also need to be taken two hours before or after antibiotic. I think two hours before and then antibiotic would defeat the purpose?? Tylan also needs to be given with food. Pepcid is recommended to be given at night and Xanax in the morning. I hate all these drugs in her but she's suffering and I want my little girl happy again! So how do I figure this schedule out lol! So breakfast tylan and Xanax? I would like to give probiotics two hours later but that's not really an empty stomach. I usually give probiotics at four then dinner at five. But I think tylan needs to be twice a day. So snack at 9 with tylan. Pepcid then at 11? I wonder if pepcid would mess up or help probiotics since it lowers stomach acid. I could do probiotics before bed with pepcid. Soo confused!
