I know in the wild if the mother is out of the picture, other members of the pack do help clean pups but don't know at what age that stops. It could be something instinctual like that that is driving her. Or she's just keen on the scent and wants to lick it. Since their values are so different from that of humans, it may be like fine perfume to her or something.

Just as Taylor recommended, just stop it with an "uh oh" or "no" and soon she will stop herself.
