I am just wondering, who is paying for the vet visit? Bloodwork at my vets is about $100 and takes at least a day to get the results. I would strongly encourage you to get this puppy's bloodwork done. It can tell much more than just a physical exam.
Also make sure the vet checks the knees for LP.
