My yorkie is 7 yrs. old and is on special food for his liver shunt. He gets canned 2x a day mixed with cottage cheese. Hard is left out at all times. Every year a couple of times he stops eating his soft. Acts normally just appears to be bored with his food. I researched liver shunt diets and found some homemade recipes. The first 2 days he scarfed it down in no time. The next day he looked at it and walks away. He always looses weight when we have this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
