No I trained her separately to have control in case of misstep. Have her on a harness, an put the trad on vey slow. Place the dog on the tread holding leash so you can lift her as necessary. Once she figures out walking, gradually increase the pace. Some dogs will run even. I stayed holing Lexie's leash til I was sure she was liking it and focused. Later I would just put her on it and she'd jump off when she had enough . Give it a try!
