I called my vet and asked about something for ticks and they told me about this collar they have. I don't see how we COULDN'T have a tick problem in my area but I haven't seen one yet. I guess I'll have to think about it. There are only so many heartworm meds he can take being a herding dog and it's hard to find something with everything for him or with just heartworm med so I can give flea/tick preventative. I don't like the idea of the collar, though.
