Seems that you're on the right track with a warm damp cloth. I might suggest that you make that a warm "wet" cloth. My wife uses a paper towel really wet with warm water to loosen the "gunk" up and then she uses her nails. It works very well for her. Now the real squirmy part is something that pup will just have to get over by itself. Make sure a treat follows the cleaning and maybe even a little tidbit during the cleaning. Kind of takes their mind off that big old rag coming at them! |
