Minnie is such a cutie! She looks like she's mixed with Chihuahua or Min Pin to me. Maybe Chihuahua since she's so tiny at 3 lbs. You can never really be certain of how a mixed breed dog will mature...even puppies from the same litter look completely different as adults (and as puppies too). That being said, it's really impossible to predict how her coat will turn out. Even full bred Yorkies change coat differently. It really depends on the dog & the parents, grandparents, etc.

I have a Yorkie/Maltese mix. She started out tan with some black. Now she's completely blonde. She was always fluffy.

I'm no expert, but by looking at Minnie's pictures, I'm not postive her coat will grow much longer. Has it grown much since she's been with you? If you've seen her parents, then that's a pretty good judge of how her coat will look as an adult.
